The 2025 projected cost of a 4-year, full-time, in-state, undergraduate program, in a public university is about $ 115,000
Federal Grants
You can apply to a Federal Pell Grant.
The maximum grant award is $7,395 for the 2023–24 full academic year.
If you qualify for a grant, this may cover about $ 29,000 toward your 4-year total cost of attending college.
You will need to fund the remainder $ 86,000.
Student loans
Private loans can help pay for the college costs.
But will require a credit check and a co-signer. Average annual interest rate range from 4.99% to 6.74%.
A $ 86,000 loan, at a 5% APR, with $ 800 monthly payments, will take about 20 years to repay.
